Royal Mixed Funspiel presented by Dixon Garland Funeral Home

Is there anything better than a bonspiel???  So much fun and interaction and even some bragging rights up for grabs.  This will be your chance to curl with and meet new members of our section.

DETAILS

Your Mixed Committee is busy planning for the event and here are some details.  

Event:                        Royal Mixed Funspiel Presented by Dixon Garland Funeral Home

Date:              Friday November 18 & Saturday November 19 

Cost:              $40 per person

Curling:         2 Draws with 3 Games guaranteed in each Draw - Points Spiel - 6 End games - Full details to follow

Food:             Lunch, and snacks plus Full Italian Dinner on Saturday evening with both draws

Prizes:            Team Prizes, Trivia prizes,  Raffles, Elimination draw, could win $1 million presented by Active Green and Ross

Theme:                      The Royals, Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III

                                    Trivia games based on the Monarchy

                                   

BONSPIEL TIMING

• Each registered curler will be assigned to one of the two draws
• Curling will begin as early as 5:30 PM on Friday, November 18 with arrival/registration at 5:00 PM
• On Saturday November 19, curling will begin as early as 9:00 AM and Full Dinner at 5:15pm Finished by 7:00pm

SIGN UP

• Sign up is primarily by email (see below) starting at 9am on Thursday November 3
• Entry to the bonspiel will be on a first-come-first-served basis to the first 64 curlers.

Enter the following information in the Body of your email:

• Your Name
• Current Position
• Any dietary restrictions
• Name of one person you would like to curl with at the same time (No guarantees you will be on the same team)

This Spiel is for Mixed Members first.  If we do not get enough interest, we will look outside our section and recruit.

This is the first time in 3 years we can enjoy a full spiel, with games on and off the ice and all of us together for dinner on Saturday evening.

Remember to sign up early to avoid disappointment!
