Hello Members
Happy 2022. We hope everyone has been safe over the holidays.
With the Government announcement of re-opening the Province, we will resume curling Monday, January 31st. Your League Chair(s) will reach out to you with any changes to the schedule that may be required.
We would ask that anyone wishing to make a change to their curling schedule to please notify Lynda Goodwin by Thursday January 27th. This will allow her time to notify the League Chairs as they work on the making up the next draw.
Here is a quick review of the curling protocols that have not changed:
- Masks are required throughout the building, except while curling or enjoying food or beverage - masks must be worn to order from the bar
- You may also continue to use only one sweeper if members of your team are uncomfortable with two sweepers
- Capacity set at 50% (no change to on ice, all 4 sheets can be in use)
Updated Protocols:
- We recommend the wearing of masks while on the ice but it is not mandatory
- Please use a spare only when necessary (play with 3)
- Visitors will be restricted at this time to Sunday afternoons (Junior’s Curling) and be limited to 1 per family
Further, it is critical that each member self-screen before coming to the club. Remember, the best line of defense against transmission is to STAY HOME if you have or your family have any of the symptoms.
By working together, we can look forward to a safe and healthy return to curling.
See you at curling!
On behalf of the Board,
Dwayne Vincent
President
