LEVELS FOR CLINICS FOR 2018/2019

This year, instead of playing position, curlers are invited to attend clinics based on the descriptions below.

Newer curlers
Typically have been curling 2 years or less and are playing lead or second
Working on the basics of delivery and understanding of the game

Intermediate
Typically have been curling 3 years to 6 years and have moved or are moving to vice in recreational leagues (e.g. Mixed or other draw leagues )
Have mastered the basics of delivery and understanding of the game

Experienced
Typically have been curling 7 years or more and are playing vice or skip in recreational leagues (e.g. Mixed or other draw leagues)
Working on enhancing the mechanics of delivery, the execution of a variety of shots and understanding of the game

Stick Curling for anyone
This clinic is an opportunity for any stick curlers to improve their delivery

Be more helpful to your team by learning how to judge weight

Delivering Various Weights from the Hack for Newer and Intermediate Curlers
What is board weight? Hack weight? Attend this clinic to learn more about controlling weight when throwing from the hack.

Take-outs for Newer and Intermediate Curlers
Being able to remove rocks from the house is a key skill. Get some practice and feedback in this on-ice session.
