Introduction to Curling – 1 hour free sessions to try curling - Free

Program:
Ever wanted to try a new winter sport? Have you heard all the screaming of “hurry hard” during the Olympics?

•        Try curling for FREE
•        1 hour session
•         Learn the basics of curling
•         Open to the public and member-referred family and friends
•         Registration required
•         Maximum of 40 participants per session

Participants:
This program is designed for those interested in learning curling is all about.  It is open to the public and friends or family of members

COST: Free

Equipment:
Required: We will provide brooms and sliding tape.
We ask that you bring a clean pair of shoes that you can change into for the on-ice activities.
We also suggest that you wear a sweater or light jacket and bring light gloves.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your session.

About the Club ...

The Unionville Curling Club is privately owned by its members and operated by an elected Board of Directors. It represents a group of individuals dedicated to the Sport of Curling.

The Unionville Curling Club was founded in 1919. From its humble beginnings in a small converted barn to its present location, the club has grown to become one of Ontario's most respected curling clubs. Situated in the heart of the village of Unionville, it serves curlers from the surrounding area as well as Metro Toronto.

The Unionville Curling Club is an active member of the Canadian Curling Association, Ontario Curling Association and the Toronto Curling Association.
